Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. I can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing.
Addiction Counseling and Referrals
As an LCSW with substance use treatment experience, I can provide an assessment and treatment, as well as recommend higher level of care, if needed, helping you navigate the system to find the care you need.
Depression, Anxiety, Panic Attacks, & OCD
Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience. Through counseling and treatment, I am able to help you recover and move you closer to the motivation, perspective, and joy that you once had in your life.
Telehealth Services Only
I am fully licensed in Virginia and am pending registration for telehealth services in the state of Florida.
Services are offered, at present, online only.
CSAC Supervision
CSAC Clinical Supervision
As a licensed LCSW and CSAC, I'm approved by the Virginia Board of Counseling to provide clinical supervision to aspiring substance use counselors as they work towards certification. Supervisees must complete and submit the necessary paperwork to the Board of Counseling to request approval for supervision, including documents signed by the supervisor. CSAC supervision may begin only when the supervisee has received board approval from the Board of Counseling.
I provide a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment in which to learn the aspects of substance use assessment, counseling, group and individual therapy, as well as the ethical concerns that surround the field. There's lots to learn, let's get you certified!

I recall how lonely it can feel as new therapist, feeling like you're supposed to know it all and yet feeling like an imposter. It can feel isolating! And don't get me started on how expensive resources are. I get it....we didn't get into this business to get rich, yet we all need to make a decent living, so we all charge for the things we create. I'd like to share some of the tricks I've come across to help make life a little easier for you as you embark on this new journey as a therapist.
